iRobot designs and builds robots that empower people to do more. The company's home robots help people find smarter ways to clean, its defense & security robots protect those in harm's way, and its remote presence robots enable virtual presence from anywhere in the world. 

Tele caller/ Telemarketer would solicit orders for our products by identifying prospects from our given database, telephoning these prospects, doing timely follow-ups with them and persuade the prospects to buy our services and convert them to be our customers/ patrons. 
Essential Functions/ Job Duties:


  • Identify prospects from calling the given DB provided by us through the script which would be given to the tele caller
  • Call these prospects through telephones (a day at least 100 calls to be targeted)
  • Create the first-point contact with these prospects, create interest in our services and products
  • Influences the prospects to then buy the products by following a prepared sales talk to give the entire product information and price quotation etc. (sales pitch)
  • Completes the order by tracking down all details of prospective buyer and then doing a proper follow up on him/ her and conclude the final sale (if demo required need to fix and same to be provided)
  • Follow all established procedures and complying with the rules of the organization
  • Secures information by completing data base back-up’s and having no DB leaked out/ shared etc.
  • Does all reporting as required to the superiors/ management etc. on a regular basis
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • During situations as & when required, works closely with the marketing team and also supports in some basic activities of engaging in execution of events, and other operational assistance as required for the team and stated by the reporting manager (this also helps the tele caller to diversify and learn various other activities apart from tele calling as well, and helps in overall growth in the organization)

Should have excellent communication skills, Results driven, Persistence, Time Management, Telephone Sales, Customer Service, Prospecting Skills, Motivation for Sales, Handles Rejection, Professionalism, Product Knowledge, Aggressive, Very Active, Good at Excel and good overall Computer Knowledge, Fluent in English, Hindi and Kannada, Interest to learn more
